Just saw this on the IFA newsbulletin:
The LM BR25LDE single rewritable disc stores up to 25 GB. A dual-layer 50 GB version, the LM BR50LDE, is also on display in Berlin. With the introduction of 4x BD drives these new discs can read and write data at four times the standard speed, enabling users to handle large amounts of data or high-definition movies with the greatest of ease. The maximum data transfer rate of these new 4x discs is 144 Megabits per second, which means that copying 1 GB of data takes one minute, a task which a 2x DVD-RW disc takes six minutes to complete.
Sadly the article doesn't mention retail-prices...
