| Denon unveiled its high-end Blu-ray Disc Player, the DVD-3800BDCI. It will be the 1st player which supports BD-ROM 1.1 |

BD-ROM 1.1 support needs dual audio/video decoders to take advantage of picture-in-picture content & an SD card slot, which are implemented in this player. The DVD-3800BDCI is the world's 1st HD player, according to Denon to use the Realta HQV video processor for advanced video cleanup. It's very disappointing this player doesn't have Ethernet support, so you can't download content, or upgrades straight from the internet (only by transfering it to SD card) Hopefully Denon would consider to implement it on the production models which should be released this fall. | |
