ASUS Xonar HDAV1.3 soundcard with HD processing capabilities |

| ASUS has introduced their Xonar HDAV1.3 soundcard, with a video processor included to improve HD picture quality. |
The Xonar HDAV1.3 provides HDMI 1.3a compatibility & introduces their "Splendid HD" video processor on this particular series for the 1st time. The "Splendid HD" video processor performs post-processing on the outbound image & does so without affecting CPU loads.
Getting past the video capabilities, the main focus of this PCI Express based card is to provide outstanding audio output. The card features 7.1 channel, 24-bit/192kHz & LPCM output through HDMI. Also DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD are supported.
ASUS will bundle a customized version of ArcSoft TotalMedia Theater for playing different types of media, including Blu-ray discs.
