| Hitachi has introduced the CP-X205 & CP-X305 3-LCD projectors. Both models share identical chassis to their respective predecessors, the CP-X200 & CP-X300, with the added benefit of networking connectivity through a RJ-45 port. |

The CP-X205 3LCD projector offers a brightness of 2,200 ANSI lumens & a light weight of 8.8 pounds. The CP-X305 features a brightness of 2,600 ANSI lumens at a weight of 8.8 pounds. Both models offers advanced networking connectivity through an RJ-45 port, allowing for control and management of multiple projectors from a remote location.
The CP-X205 and CP-X305 also offer unmatched clarity, with XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. They feature two RGB inputs, MyScreen/MyMemory preset options, and a remote control with Hitachi’s “MyButtons” function. Both offer a low 29dB noise rating (in Whisper Mode), 1:1.2 manual zoom, and digital keystone correction.
Both projectors offer a side mounted filter for easy maintenance, as well as a top door lamp. Additional features such as Input Source Naming, component/composite/S-Video inputs, and digital gamma correction add to the versatility of both models. Additionally, the CP-X205 and CP-X305 address the issue of equipment theft in schools, as they are equipped with a security bar, Kensington security slot and transition detector (a sensor located inside the projector that recognizes when the projector has been moved). A 7-watt audio output in both models enables a complete audio/video presentation.
“We have seen an increasing demand for networked presentation systems in all fixed-install applications, from schools to corporate environments to houses of worship,” said Pete Denes, vice president of sales, Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Business Platform Systems Division, Business Group. “The Hitachi CP-X205 and CP-X305 3LCD projectors address this need while providing the unmatched versatility and performance characteristic of Hitachi’s complete projector line.”
