| The new Everio X GZ-X900 HD camcorder is the latest flagship from JVC & can get more pixels at slower frame rates. |

At the heart of the Everio X camera is a 1/2.33-inch 10.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor - the world's 1st to be used in a Full HD AVCHD camera. This 10.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor is also the source of 1920x1080/60i Full HD AVCHD format video.
The camera's high-speed recording function shoots ultra-slow motion video to capture dynamic movement that is not visible to the naked eye. Any one of 3 speeds - 120 frames per second (fps), 300fps & 600fps - can be selected; the faster the recording speed, the slower the playback motion. With this function, approximately four-second bursts of video are recorded that are then played back over a period of up to 80 seconds.
The camcorder also works as a fast-action still camera, with 9 megapixel quality at 15 fps & 5.3 megapixel at 60 fps. The JVC Everio X GZ-X900 will be available in June this year for about 800 Euro ($1000).
