Key Digital is introducing 2 new HDMI switchers/distribution amplifiers, the HDMI2x4P & KD-HDMI2x8P.
|

These 2 new switchers can accommodate up to 2 HDMI inputs and distribute these signals into 4 (KD-HDMI2x4P) or 8 (KD-HDMI2x8P) video outputs. Both switchers are HDMI 1.3 compliant with the capacity to handle all video signals from standard definition 480i to full HD 1080p.
Features - Supports coaxial digital audio, optical digital audio (Toslink) and analog audio
- Key Digital IAS circuit automatically senses and switches to the active video input
- Flexible EDID control manages the HDMI communication for any output
- Fully controllable through RS-232.
- Supports any HDMI resolution at 50Hz or 60 Hz.
- Can be cascaded to support up to 100 HDMI video displays
Michael Lakhter, VP, Sales for Key Digital says, “Our two new HDMI switchers set a new industry standard for flexibility and capability. We have a unique design in incorporating two-way EDID communication for HDMI devices. This “first to market” technology assures the customer that all products wired through the KD-HDMI2x4P and KD-HDMI2x8P will have perfect high definition images and that will not be down converted due to poor communication between source and display.”
The KD-HDMI2x4P & KD-HDMI2x8P will cost $825 & $2000, respectively (no European pricing, or availability known yet)
