| A new HD camcorder, the GZ-HD3 from the extremly compact Everio range is among the JVC highlights on display at the IFA. |

This high-tech midget, sold as the GZ-HD3, captures moving images with three 16:9 recording chips, achieving an HD video resolution of 1440 x 1080 pixels. The camera uses a bulit-in 60 gigabyte hard drive to store data, sufficient for 7 hours recording time. The HD lens by Konica Minolta is a special and major contribution in terms of image quality enhancement on the GZ-HD3. This high-performance zoom (10x optical zoom / 200x digital zoom) has aspherical hybrid lenses which, thanks to special glass, produce very little diffuses light or aberrations. Their spacing-saving dimensions are also responsible for the camcorder´s extremely small size. This tiny travel companion can also be used as a digital photo camera. Its hard drive stores up to 9,999 images at resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. | |
