| Onkyo announced its DHC-9.9 pre-amplifier which is a part of its high-end 'Integra' brand & it sure does look high-end! |
The DHC-9.9 pre-amplifier comes with HDMI 1.3 ports (4 input/2 output), support for Dolby True HD, THX Ultra 2 Plus, DTS-HD & 1080/24p image input. 7.1-Channel professional-grade balanced XLR outputs for connection to compatible multichannel amplifiers is also provided. The pre-amplifier supports HDMI CEC function of Toshiba Regza, Sharp Aquous, Panasonic Viera & other popular brands which allows the amplifier to be controlled from the TV's remote itself.
