Panasonic has recently announced their PT-AE3000E projector, suitable for any home theater system.

This projector features 1600 ANSI lumens, 1080p resolution & an impressive 60000:1 contrast ratio.
One of the new features the AE3000E has is a Detail Clarity Processor that creates sharp detailed reproductions of fast moving motion images. The newly engineered Pure Contrast Plate technology, give the AE3000E an extra large contrast ratio & effectively blocks unwanted light leakage. This technology paired with a newly developed fifth-generation Dynamic Iris is what allows the AE3000E to produce a 60000:1 contrast ratio, Aboutprojectors.com reports.
The AE3000E comes with 3 HDMI inputs as well as 2 component connections.
The PT-AE3000E is available in Europe & Asia for about 3250 Euros. For the US market the PT-AE3000U is available.
