Sony decided to remove the Emotion Engine chip from the new Playstation 3 80 GB model. This chip enables backward compatibility with older PlayStation games.

Scratched Xbox 360 discs

A class-action suit has been filed against Microsoft by Jorge Brouwer from the US who claims that Xbox 360s scratch game discs, making them unusable.

Microsoft Xbox 360 E3

Microsoft anounced on the E3 that they decided to launch the Xbox 360 Elite in Europe on August the 24th & by the end of the year, video marketplace will be available in Europe & Canada.

Pioneer recently launched its "HD Digital Film Direct: 24 frames per second (fps)" standard logo. This logo will be attached to all of their products which handle 24fps movie content accurately, so that what you see & hear is absolutely true to the original film, as it was intended.
